Responsibilities:
• Timely, efficient, and accurate Due Diligence (DD) checks of new and existing customers, ensuring records are accurate in all systems and that supporting documentation is scanned and filed correctly within agreed timelines.
• Performing PEP, Sanction as well as Adverse Media checks and analysing the results to eliminate or confirm matches.
• Monitoring clients and transactions by investigating alerts generated within the monitoring system.
• Preparing responses to partner-bank inquiries.
• Identifying and reporting suspicious transactions and activities.
• Undertaking additional compliance-related tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of KYC/AML/Sanctions/Financial Crime fundamentals with at least 2+ years experience in a similar position
• Understanding of the onboarding process for legal entities;
• Legal and regulatory knowledge UK, EU
• Have the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly without error.
